Hólar Cathedral
Hólar Church is the oldest stone church in Iceland, consecrated in 1763. There you can see Iceland's greatest national treasure, the Hólar Brik, which dates from 1520, a baptismal font from the Middle Ages and the original Guðbrandsbíblía which was printed in Hólar in 1584. Mass is held every Sunday at 2:00 PM and concerts at 4:00 PM from June 14 to August 23. Coffee after mass is offered by the Hólar Committee.
