Safe places at the waterfall

The hiking trail from Örlygsstaðir runs from the parking lot to the monument to the Battle of Örlygsstaðir. The trail to the waterfall continues along the fence up to the river. Cross the river and continue further up the hill. When you reach another river, walk along it up to the waterfall. The hike ends at the viewpoint of the waterfall and you return the same way. It is important to be aware of sheep or horses in the area.
