Pindastoll

A hiking trail with great views of Gönguskörð, Sauðárkrókur and out to Skagafjörður. Drive out of Þverárfjallsvegur, no. 744 at the hiking trail sign west of the town of Skarð and drive up about 300m north of Hraksíðuá. There are gates on the way that it is important to close again. At the starting point there is an information sign about the hiking trail in Icelandic. You walk along a marked path to the Einhyrning guard at the southeast of Tindastól, 795 mys. A beautiful and enjoyable trail with good views of Sauðárkrókur and the fjord.
